from left to right, my mom, me, my brother, and tracy, at the palace of fine arts. pero di talaga siya palace, its just a landmark built for an expo nung early 1900s. ganda.  kaninang hapon yan, now its 6PM at super dilim na dito, winter kasi. today i learned: buildings and houses here aren't built with airconditioner capacity, unlike sa pilipinas. so kahit mainit sa summer, bubukas lang ng bintana or electric fan. hindi kasi humid tulad ng sa tin kaya kaya nila. share ko lang!

hello again! tingnan niyo to o, furry stuffed toy na bone shaped, says 'good dog', pasalubong ko para kay presley.  hehe. its almost 1AM here, antok na kami lahat pero tumatambay lang kami dito sa sala watching tv. ang dami naming ginawa today grabe! ilang tourist spots, konting shopping, kumain ng kumain, hay kapuy!  kaya goodnight na.. don't forget to pray.

morning everyone, meet bacci! hehe, cute no, parang bear, or baby lion? bacci is the dog of my brother and tracy. mukha siyang malaking presley kaya aliw na aliw ako sa kanya. this is a typical morning dito, naghahanda ang kuya ko for work, yan ang legs niya sa likod, haha. kami ng sister ko umiinom muna coffee, nood ng tv, steady lang. steady lang sana din kayo diyan..

the gonzalez siblings happy all together.. hi guys! super mami-miss ko brother ko.. nalulungkot ako just thinking na maghihiwalay na naman kami!  today i learned: para sa lahat ng may relatives abroad, the best and cheapest way to communicate is the vonage phone, that you connect to dsl anywhere, tapos unlimited minutes for only $25 a month. galing ng mga service na ganun.

i know mukha akong fish sa picture, extreme close up lang kasi.. hehe. stop over ng plane namin sa detroit, at grabe ang snow sa labas! more and more i realize na di ko talaga kaya to live in a cold place. gusto ko lang makapagbakasyon at makita yung iba't-ibang cities sa mundo, pero the philippines has the best weather talaga! hay, miss ko na ang mainit na lugar!  haha. kayo, cold weather or warm weather?

okay friends, we're now officially opposite time zones.. hello from new york city! graaabe. kakatext ko lang na ayoko ng lamig, pero dito its 20oC!! ack! ang dami ko nang suot, ang bigat. warm ang katawan ko pero mukha ko nilalamig! haha. hope you're all safe and warm. andito kami ng sister ko sa subway. ang efficient ng public transport everywhere here, if only ganito din sa tin! slowly but surely, hopefully mangyari..

look guys, its the brooklyn bridge behind us! and look guys, yup, its my best friend pepel! siya naman ang binisita namin dito. we're going around downtown lang today.. kanina, first stop namin ang ground zero, may sort of solemn feel sa area. grabe, last time andito kami may picture pa kami dun.. ngayon wala na. but they are building again! today i learned: 2012, the world trade center is set to be up again, tower seven is up already, tapos one skyscraper na lang instead of two. parang sana memorial park na lang.

its the famous gray's papaya hotdog! masarap nga. haha. phew! its past 10PM here now at super pagod na kami.. walking all day at grabe talaga ang lamig ng ilong, kamay, at paa ko.A we went from the financial district, to east and west village, to soho (yes, may shopping siyempre, hehe!), then to union square area for vietnamese food dinner at republic. great restaurant din! i know sunday na diyan, so have a blessed day everyone.

hello from me and pepel here at central park! grabe, kakapagod. ang layo nanaman ng nilakad namin! after church, we walked down fifth avenue, nag-lunch kami with our friend nicole na mag-aaral na dito, walked some more to central park, then to the met, metropolitan museum of art. astig. 5PM pa lang dito at ang dilim na. ang lamig pa! text ako ulit mamaya..

this is it friends! my sister aissa, my best friend pepel, and me.. we're at time square! grabe ang lamig but its just so nice to be out staring at all the lights and screens and billboards. sooobrang nakakapagod lahat ng nilakad namin today, pero worth it. favorite ko ang egyptian at 19th century european paintings na hall sa met. tapos nagdinner kami sa famous coffee and tea house, dean and deluca. ngayon pauwi na. night guys! don't forget to pray, mamaya pagtulog niyo.

hello everyone! its 1PM eastern standard time.. day one downtown, day two midtown, now day three uptown manhattan naman kami! this morning nga pala.. oh my.. nag-nbc studio tour kami, but before that, naabutan pa namin ang today show, the nbc morning show, nakita namin si pierce brosnan at liam neeson! as in james bond and quigon jin! nakaka-starstruck grabe. haha! today i learned: nbc started as a radio station, but the first time the idea of a radio was pitched, sabi ng bosses nila, 'who wants talking furniture?' haha. medyo laugh trip na trivia yun kanina sa tour.

super laugh trip, every so often, you really have to take a coffee or tea break para lang magpainit. kakatawa kasi sa pilipinas, pupuntang mall para magpalamig naman. we just came from cafe mozart where they have really good soup, dessert, and coffee, strawberry fields sa central park where john lennon was shot, then here to the guggenheim for more paintings.. ganda ng building at maganda ang van gogh at picasso collection nila. kayo, kamusta? kamusta ang manila?
