(oct 17) a blessed sunday everyone! :-) this is the beeeeeeautiful outfit i wore last night to the preview 15th anniversary party in cebu! :-) the theme of the party was 'crystal', and i wore this beautiful embellished and fringe nude dress by super talented designer jun escario! isn't it so beautiful?! what a genius he is. that's really strands of faux hair to create the fringe! the textures of this dress is what i love so much! paired it with killer heels by kermit tesoro, and a beautiful aranaz muse bag. :-) this has got to be one of my favorite outfits that i've worn ever! liz, georgina, and belle also wore jun that night. we all wanted to wear a cebu designer! that's really the real reason i was in cebu. preview flew in a total of 65 people from manila, including the whole preview team, then they had their cebu guest list, and all in all it was a big success i must say! congratulations preview!!!! :-) to this day, my favorite magazine cover ever is my solo cover for preview. :-) the event actually started at 7PM in a really nice mexican restaurant called maya, for a dinner party sponsored by havaianas. then we moved to a cebu club called penthouse for the main event. the place was super packed! we just kept dancing the whoooole night. you can just imagine the pain our feet were in by the end of the night! hahaha! i love cebu and every cebuano i met has been so hospitable! my starstruck moment that night was being introduced to another genius cebuano designer cary santiago, and the first thing he told me was, 'i'm a fan!' oh my gosh! i couldn't believe it! all i could say was 'no, no, i'm a fan of yours! its my dream to wear your creation someday!' :-) anyway, i'm back in manila now, i'm only on like three hours of sleep, pero go lang straight to work!

(oct 18) the happiest birthday ever to my one and only mom, and one and only nanay virgie!!!! :-) birthday morning started off with a skype date with my brother, tracy, and roco, then with my sister! my mom's gift is three new wall clocks, one manila, one san francisco, one london! she was so happy! my nanay's gift is a brand new digital camera and she was so happy too! birthday lunch at a japanese restaurant just filling ourselves and catching up on good stories! then nail tropics for a manicure pedicure date with my mom, then treated her to a massage and a facial at the spa! and at home came a fresh delivery of all pink flowers! :-) can you believe my beautiful mom is 62?! my sister and i keep saying, 'its okay to be 60, as long as you look 50!' hahaha! but actually when my friends or random people meet her they think she's only in her late 40s! haha. my sister and i are confident that when we grow up, we'll also grow up gracefully just like her. :-p i always say this and i'll say it again. i'm so thankful to my mom with the way she brought us three kids up. i wouldn't be wherever i am today, wouldn't have what i do today, without her amazing upbringing. for that i will be forever thankful. :-) thank you to all the biancsters, angels, and pudgies who greeted my mom! :-)

(oct 19) guess who i bumped to in the abs corridors today! the insanely nakakagigil bugoy!!!! :-) tuwang tuwang tuwa ako sa batang ito kasi he dances so well, is so bibo, and to top it all off, he's super guapo! as in not just an ordinary cute kid, he's really super guapo! haha, niloloko ko nga siya, 'hintayin na lang kaya kita?' hahahahaha! cradle snatcher?! haha. no, he's just adorable. :-) its a regular work day today in abs.. i was so overwhelmed and slightly scared lang kanina because tito boy got to watch part one of my gabby concepcion interview and so tonight he actually sat me down to give me pointers! nakakaloka! i was very scared for the gabby interview because he isn't really my generation and i didn't really know how to position myself! he gave me tips like, for this type of interview, my body language was very pang lifestyle interview as in i was leaning back on my chair, but it should be more hard hitting daw as in i should be leaning forward. he also gave me tips on how to shorten my questions and put more emphasis on words or punchlines. nakaka-overwhelm!!!! to be honest when i started hosting, tito boy never really gave me a strict workshop or what, but when he gets to see me he gives me pointers. when i talk to him i just feel na i have so much to learn! and its exciting!

(oct 20) today, i'm a bottomliner!!!! :-) we taped for the two part birthday special of tito boy for the bottomline, and the concept of the show is a lot of his friends from different industries coming together to put him on the hot seat! i was so honored to be a part of it! :-) other panelists were tita ballsy and tita pinky as in the sisters of pnoy, miss aiai, tito boy's long time partner tito bong, erik santos, mike defensor and wife julie, doc manny calayan, direk bobby garcia, and so many other guests! tito boy is really one of the most fascinating, intelligent people i know. i have learned so, so much from him not just as a talent but as a person. i think if you watch the show, you'll really learn a lot and be inspired! :-) i wanted to ask him sooo many things but i was just in awe listening to him answer all the questions! like who does he think is the 'next' boy abunda, what is one thing he hasn't done that he wants to do, what does he consider his greatest achievement, how rich is he, and many other interesting questions! one of the things that struck me that he said.. the greatest lesson he learned from his nanay? is to talk. talk a lot, keep open communication, also listen a lot, talk as in share, talk as in be open. i love tito boy! :-)

(oct 21) thank you to every single one of you who watches snn every night!!!! :-) want to know what my view is like from where i stand on set? tadaaaa! o diba.. welcome to the set and behind the scenes of snn! :-) i've grown to be very at home on this set and to this day i still don't know what i did right to deserve having this awesome job. i am so blessed, so thankful, so humbled!!!! :-) just today i got a text from a tito in ateneo saying he was hoping to set up dinner with me and his niece, because she wants to enter the same career i did. i said i wasn't really sure what advice they want from me, but i would love to help out! earlier today also i got a tweet from a mom, one of the best, most flattering things anyone can ever tell me, that she likes me daw and she hopes one day her daughter will grow up to be like me. i died. really. i died! for me those kinds of kind words are what i find the most flattering words more than anything else. because it speaks of my character and not just what i do or wear or say, its more about me as a person. and with that i am really humbled! thank you to all of you!!!! :-) on that note i would like to announce my little thank you gift to you.. been promising a chance to win a haircut slash make over at alex carbonell's salon, so this is it! rules muna today.. one, you have to have a twitter account. second, yes its for either boys or girls. third, you must be around the manila area kasi the salon is in greenbelt. fourth, i will announce the question in my next ktxt! :-)

(oct 22) pastel pink top with gold sequined shoulders from hong kong, black waisted belt with gold buckle from topshop, black elephant pants from duerr, bebe platform heels. :-) hi everyone! its a corporate hosting day today for me! :-) thank you so much to kraft foods for getting me to be part of this amazing event. its called itaste.. stands for i take a step towards excellence. it is a three week extensive training program for students, and today is the culminating activity. there are groups of five from six different schools, ateneo, dlsu, up diliman, up los banos, ua&p, and ust. they were each assigned a brand and a marketing challenge they had to execute, and the individual best performers and the best group all get to go to singapore for a graduate training program to be absorbed straight by kraft after!!!! isn't that amazing?! :-) i hosted the awarding part and gave a little pep talk to the students. i told them how lucky they are to be a part of such an amazing program because now they have a major edge over their other batchmates! thank you kraft for making me a part of such an inspiring project! say it with me, 'i take a step towards excellence!' :-)

(oct 23) ten years out of high school!!!! i can't believe it!!!! i am still such a kid, and kid at heart, i really cannot believe its been ten years since i graduated high school. how time flies!!!! wow. the feeling is indescribable. seeing all my batchmates after ten years, it was so, so, so, so, so much crazy fun! except for very, very few who either lost so much weight or gained so much weight, i swear, everyone looks almost the same, just a bit older! hahaha! it was so much fun catching up with everyone, meeting their new husbands or wives, learning about their new jobs, seeing pictures of their kids, my reunion surpassed my expectations of fun!!!! :-) this photo i'm sending you is our cheerleading team! oh, the memories! they even showed a cheering routine of ours in the program! ang saya saya! :-) i was really so pro active in high school. i was honor section, i was a cheerleader for the batch and the school, i was with a committee in the student council, i was with search in, i directed and wrote our plays and videos.. naks! :-p feel na feel! i wish this night wouldn't end!!!! i love zobel!!!! :-)

(oct 24) another photo from my zobel reunion last night! :-) this is my grade school and high school best guy friend ian! he is the original owner of my former car wje!!!! so, so, so much fun at the reunion last night i swear! :-) please do attend your high school or college reunions kasi its so much fun, talagang priceless!!!! :-) its a busy, busy sunday for me din today. snn taping for monday then a pictorial for star studio! i feel like i was put so much on the spot though because i had no idea what the feature was about! i just knew it was a christmas story! then they did the interview and it was all about relationships.. so i was really wondering why! then they said for the photos i shouldn't smile, so i really was wondering and said 'diba christmas, masaya?!' then they said the other featured artists were ate kris, diether, cesca.. then i put two and two together!!!! kalokaaaa!!!! the feature is about mga taong malamig ang pasko! hahahahaha! nakakabaliw kasi i wasn't aware that that is what i was going into. i'm a very private person so i don't like giving too much details about my personal life! they were trying to squeeze out sadness from me but all i gave out was positivity! hahaha! :-)

(oct 25) vote, vote, vote! :-) i just cast my vote for my future barangay officers! :-) i swear. the feeling of writing down your vote, putting it in the ballot, getting indelible ink on your finger.. priceless!!!! :-) i hope all of you of legal age never miss an election. i really feel so strongly for this! imagine. we were born into a generation wherein we can take up any course we want, go out when we want, have whatever job we want.. we are so insanely free! and voting is one major example of our freedom! we have a voice! so i hope none of you are wasting that right and privilege to vote. :-) super init, i voted at noon so that there would be less people. ang bait nung nasa precint grabe! apparently my mom accidentally told me the precint number of my sister, so to my shock, my name wasn't on the list! i got tense talaga! but then i said i voted just last may so impossible that i'm not there. everyone was so helpful and i finally found my precint. :-) hope you all enjoy your free day election monday! :-)

(oct 26) on the red carpet premiere of 'til my heartaches end' with direk joey, kim, and gerald! :-) i super cannot wait to see this movie! :-) you guys know how big a kimerald fan i am, also since they were our babies in pinoy big brother! i'm so proud of what they have accomplished! live is really tougher on location because of the different elements. my least favorite part is the override! its that cool piece you stick in your ear, the one news reporters usually hold when they wanna hear the anchor in the studio and what they're asking! its very, very cool but very, very distracting! when you're live on location, there is sort of a one second delay between video and audio so its very, very hard to hear yourself think because what you're actually saying, you hear one second after in your ear! its really slightly nakakabaliw and takes a whole lot of getting used to. :-o then again it is honestly also part of the fun of doing live! its so challenging! i heard 'til my heartaches end' is really a heavy piece compared to kim and gerald's usual movies. i saw a lot of people coming out of the movie house na bagong iyak! :-p oh by the way, i'm wearing a white top and navy blazer from zara, navy pants from forever 21, gold shoes christian louboutin.. kim is wearing a beautiful dress by francis libiran. :-)

(oct 27) check out my new hair!!!! :-):-):-):-) yaay, finally!!!! :-):-):-):-) you know me, every six months or so i feel i have to change my look a bit! so today of course my love and darling hair stylist for ten years now, alex carbonell, worked on this new, lighter color for me! i love ittt! :-) hahahaha. but would you believe i was five hours in the salon just to achieve this color? this is three layers of different colors! i love alex because he really makes every single customer's color unique! its not just like its brown, or black, or red, its really layers of colors to suit your complexion! :-) to think five hours na ako dun, this is not yet done! haha. i actually wanted a haircut din kasi but we had no time na or else i'll be late to snn. maybe next week we'll work on it again! had my brows bleached and my nails cleaned while i was at it. haha. hope you are all having a great wednesday! :-)

(oct 28) i cannot believe it! mcdonalds on emerald ave in pasig is THE place to be apparently at like 1 or 2AM! its packed! as in lines til the door and all tables full! hahaha, ang saya saya, its like a steady night life right here! :-p maaaan, i'm having mcdo so, so, so often now, as in almost everyday! for today i'm having crispy chicken sandwich, twister fries, and coke float. such happy food! :-) its so cool, i was observing all tables, every single table had twister fries on it! no joke! hahaha. today was a super, super, mega full thursday. aside from tfc, cinemanews, snn.. i had to tape my part for this special birthday vtr of tito boy! its a music video of justin bieber's song 'baby' dedicated to tito boy! then every line its different people singing and i can't believe i sang emote na emote! hahaha! its airing tomorrow on snn as a special vtr for tito boy. :-) was so psyched also because in the studio today i was visited by my darlings katey, karen, monica, enie, with special appearance of jessica and mickay and sydney boy and sydney girl all the way from davao! nakakataba ng puso to be visited at work i swear. :-) thank you so, so, so much! :-)

(oct 29) everyday is a day that the LoRd made, so let us truly rejoice and be glad!!!! i am truly, truly blessed to be a part of unicef philippines. today we went to two site visits. first was lingap pangkabataan in cubao where we checked on this mobile education and child protection van! basically its a van equipped and filled with educational materials including a huge flat screen tv and sound system so that kids can watch videos and programs to help them learn! we then went to nayon ng kabataan, a center of dswd for abused and neglected children. there unicef provided help by giving musical instruments and football equipment to the kids, and they put on a little show for us today! amazing because some of the kids have been part of competing teams representing the philippines in australia, italy, and south africa! my heart soars with happiness when i hear of these kids who have gone through so much pain, but are now developing their talents to be something when they grow up. :-) i really highly encourage you all to become a unicef champion for children. i really do! you can sign up on www.unicef.ph :-)

(oct 31) happy halloween!!!! :-) here is a full shot of my costume for halloween 2010! so, so, so sorry my ktxt last night was super short as in photo and greeting lang! had a super busy day yesterday running all over the place getting ready for halloween! my favorite holiday of the year! :-) super career my costume! wig from landmark, pink tee from forever 21, orange shorts made by mich araullo, mr. backpack made by pbb artdept team, yellow socks from h&m, white sneakers from adidas! what a hit, ang dami nagpapicture sakin i really felt like a real life cartoon character! haha! at first i thought the bag was a bit too big compared to dora's bag talaga, but i found its better that its oversized because its more cartoony! started off the night at members only in the fort with my college friends, and ended in republiq with sina liz and friends. soooobrang saya grabe! not kidding, but its the most fun halloween i've ever had. :-) ended up in mcdo pa at 5AM for after gimmick snacks! hahaha! slept at 6AM and woke up at 11AM for mass. went back to sleep when i got home and woke up at 3PM to eat lunch then run then head to work. :-) its a nice, steady sunday! i can't believe october is over! bring it on, november! :-)
