(aug 16) lace, studs, and bows! love ittt! wearing a black lace top from topshop, gray wide leg pants from meg, studded clutch from h&m, black heels with cute bows! its a steady errands day today.. fixed stuff at home, fixed bank stuff, did my short run, twas a very fulfilling day! :-) tonight i have my monthly dinner with my girl friends.. marion, rina, trisia, and trina! i love, love, love having dinner with these girls. super feeling sex and the city! its sooo exciting because we're planning a random trip soon.. sana matulooooy! haha. if only i could leave every weekend i really would, i swear! haha. in other news, it is also a sad and down day today because early this morning, the grandma of sina ate pia and lino passed away. i have so many fond memories of her, she was such an amazing woman. i learned a lot of recipes from her, we watched a lot of golden girls together, she will be greatly missed. please say a little prayer for her. :-)

(aug 17) its a craaaazy day! crazy rollercoaster of emotions day! okay.. let me start off where i am now first. :-) i love, love, love it when lala flores does my make up. i swear. she brings out something that always makes me feel extra special!!!! here now at my pictorial for avon mix.. always, always so much fun! make up by lala flores, hair by nante alingasa, photography by mike cheng. eight lay outs and four different looks, super whole day affair! i really am having so much fun being a model again today. i think all my america's next top model viewing is paying off because super inspired ako to pose! hahaa! we did a safari look, a summer look, a prairie look, and a japanese look. super love it!!!! :-) aside from this full day and snn tonight, i had to wake up extra extra early because of a very special interview with mariel. just today she came out with a very big decision, and she was so sweet a friend to request me to do her big one on one interview. it will be airing this saturday on e live. its honestly one of the hardest, most memorable interviews i've done. i cried! and its usually mariel who cries! i'm very proud of the interview. :-) i love mariel so, so much. :-)

(aug 18) team snn! haha! this is what we all look like behind the scenes with all our maletas and shoes and stuff, not as glamorous as it seems! hahaha. on snn, every week alternates bianca santiago and ange alarcon, my friends, who also happen to style for me. they are the ones who pull out the clothes since i don't have time to, we brainstorm the looks we want, what shoes, what make up and hair, then the look comes together! :-) its a lot of fun and i love being dolled up on snn! :-) in the middle of the photo is my fabulous make up artist rb chanco, and to the right is her assistant bernadette. rb and i have been working together over three years now, and it all started with e live. super gamay na niya yung look ko, and i'm so happy i found her! :-) i'm so flattered that i get so many texts and tweets from you guys about our different looks, and some people even say they just watch to check out what i'm wearing. nakakakilig sa totoo lang! mas nakakainspire mag-experiment at mag-try ng looks when we get good feedback like that. :-) i had a steady day lang today. bonded and ran errands lang with my sister before heading to work tonight!

(aug 19) its an extra full thursday! spending the morning hosting the honda event at the international car show! :-) i've never been to a car show before but apparently its ultra cool! all the car brands you can think of with their own area and their own design and all their models just displayed there. i'm not a big car person but i do appreciate beautiful cars! i started off the honda show by sharing that i have been a loyal honda driver for seven years now, which is actually when i started driving! first was my second hand civic, then the crv i got to save up for, then the civic to replace my old civic! tuwang tuwa naman the honda people to hear about my loyalty! :-p the event was very short, but super impressive! in car shows, they launch motors of the future. honda launched this super, super cool u3x! its wild! imagine a giant bottle opener, make it stand up, and imagine it as small as a stool. you sit on it and its supposedly as natural as walking! it can go forward, backward, side to side, diagonal. i wanted to ride it but i wasn't allowed! haha. really felt like the future! :-p after this i'm on to a long, long day for tfc, cinema news, snn taping then live. despite it being qc day, my work knows no holiday! hahaha.

(aug 20) boo to sore eyes!!!! :-( i feel so kawawa! todo self pity lang ako today! :-( hahahaha. was supposed to leave early this morning for the beach with my friends but i woke up with my eye so puffy its as if i were a boxer who got beaten up. no joke! hay. was scared i might make my friends hawa so i decided to pass na lang. i needed to buy medicine and hot compress my eye anyway throughout the day, which would be hard to do if i was in the beach. so yeah, this thing on my face in the photo is a warm compress, to make the swelling go down pala. then i'm taking this eye drops to take away the infection. haaaay. it never seems to go away! i had fever, then sore throat, then a huge pimple, then now sore eyes! waaaaaaah! as they say, GoD has a purpose for everything, and i believe in the greater good that this sore eye will bring me! i also claim that the medicine will work and that i'll be well enough for work tomorrow! i claim it, thank you LoRd! also, please don't forget my exclusive, tell all, one on one interview with my sister mariel, airing on e live tomorrow! with all humility, i must say its one of my favorite interviews that i've done. i wish you all a sore eye free weekend! haha!

(aug 21) my first avon nascon ever! :-) i have sore eyes pero go, go, go pa din with work! masking it na lang with make up! super big time this event grabe, as in we're here in the araneta coliseum and its full! :-o the crowd here are all the avon dealers, avon ladies, and i'm so honored to be part of the event. at first they asked me if i wanted to dance for the program, i had to beg off! haha! so i ended up na lang doing what i can do, host! haha! i introduced the fashion show part of the program. :-) i'm really so, so proud to be part of the avon family. :-) beside me here in the photo are.. on the left is jeff aromin one of the best hairstylists in the country, and on the right is lala flores one of the best make up artists in the country as well! i get so kilig when people randomly tell me that they're avon dealers! i highly encourage you, if you want a side stream of income, be an avon lady. super changes lives! i've heard so many success stories! :-)

(aug 22) guess who visited me in my dressing room tonight while getting ready for snn taping??!! the one and only toni g....!!!! :-):-) i loooove toni! don't mind my red eye ha, hahaha. i still have sore eyes. hay, i super missed toni! she was gone so long for her us concert tour and i missed her! i honestly miss the kwentuhan and quality time! so even if we had a bit of time lang kanina to catch up, we super, super made speed kwentuhan! ang dami na naming napag-usapan! about her trip, what she shopped for, about mommy pinty, about buzz, snn, e live, about the different chismis going around, i loooove it!!!! :-) she only had a day to shop for herself daw because the tour was all work, but she still brought me home chocolates and super fab earrings that i promised to wear sometime this week on snn! :-) she's doing such a great job on the buzz, we were so right, no one deserves to do the show more than her. i am such a proud sister! :-) okay. in related news.. because our other sister mariel is on indefinite leave, i guess its safe to announce for now that the airing of my interview with her on e live is a sort of warm up.. by next week's e live, i will be pinch hitting for mariel and i'll be doing e live while she's gone. :-)

(aug 23) its general cleaning day and its both a happy but emotional day!!!! a few weeks from now, my sister will be leaving the country, sort of for good, well, she's moving out of the house to study and london, and try out what life will be like there with her boyfriend james. i am both the happiest person for her but also the saddest.. why? happy because first, it has always been her dream, well both our dream, to pursue studies abroad, and she's finally fulfilling it, and second, because it is a very big step in her and james' relationship! :-) sad because my sister and i have shared a room since birth. since birth! even if my brother moved out and there was a free room, we chose not to separate. and now, she's actually leaving. i've been extremely emotional about this the past months, i just try my best not to show it. :-( so today we cleaned out all her stuff from my brother's room that is now my walk in closet. i gave her so much of my stuff, and i separated so much of my dresses, tops, bottoms, for this garage sale you see in the picture. :-) right most of the photo is my nanay virgie, in charge of the sale, everything is P50 and everything must go! looks like the neighbors are having a blast looking through the sale naman. :-)

(aug 24) meet my wonderful fairy godsisters who came to visit me at the studio today! :-) from left to right that's kate the chemist, monica the student, and karen the abs insider! :-) i really, really appreciate the visit girls! i hope you enjoyed the snn visit! today is the most beautiful day in the universe!!!! it love it that miss universe is a great television event just like the world cup or the big boxing matches! my mom, sister, and i huddled over the tv this morning to watch it all unfold, and really, after a devastating day for our country yesterday with what is now called the quirino bloodbath. :-( anyway.. it was a great, uplifting day and venus really rocked it!!!! :-) its so funny because my snn make up artist, rb chanco, is a huuuuge miss universe fan. you know the type that memorizes names, answers, years, costumes, the works? yes that's her! haha! last week pa niya pinaplano that my look tonight has to be a subtle version of the look of whoever wins miss universe. thus the red dress with the big wavy hair and smoky eyes! a la miss mexico ang look namin for tonight! hahaha!

(aug 25) general cleaning continues! here is my sister in the middle of our messy, messy living room cleaning out her old study table. its really, really real!!!! :-( i've been in denial for the longest time that my sister is leaving, but every day we clean out a bit of her stuff and i'm getting really sentimental! :-( we'll be selling her old study table and my old study table as soon as we get to sort out the stuff, as well as this giant shelf of books you see on the left. this whole wall to the right will be converted into my shoe wall, we'll make the whole wall rows and rows of racks so i can put all my shoes. right now they're stacked downstairs causing so much commotion kasi ang gulo gulo, haha. general cleaning is so emotional because you find things from way, way back! my sister and i found her old planner with photos of her relationship way back in college, old photos as in from our childhood where my brother, sister, and i are goofing around, old scripts we used to write for our school plays back in high school, hand outs from our philosophy professor in college.. the list goes on and on and on! my sister even found the letter that changed my life. the letter saying we are one of the finalists of the pantene healthy hair quest way back in year 2000! from being a super shy nerd, i became a model, and now i'm so fortunate to have the work i have. GoD really works in mysterious ways and you never know what he has in store for you! so much reminiscing will go on with this packing up of my sister! waah!

(aug 28) reunited with my e live family and reunited with my dear brother luis!!!! :-) aaaaw.. i really, really missed luis. from seeing each other regularly before, i actually haven't super bonded with him like this in three months! it was so, so good to catch up. :-) as a fellow member of the talk unit, i'm super, super happy for cesca and nikki for doing e live! i think they're like mariel and i in that they're sisters by virtue of the same manager. it was so surreal though getting ready for e live without toni and mariel! it felt so weird and unnatural! i had to text them both to tell them how senti i was that i was doing the show without them, how i miss our just hanging around and dishing out all the chismis you can think of! i super miss ma and toni grabe. luis naman kept on making me asar today as usual. i still have a giant pimple on the side of my nose and he kept picking on me kasi co host ko daw na dala. hahaha! so much fun though to hang out at the e live set! nanibago ako to do live interview with studio audience, but i hope i did a good job naman. :-p will always continue to do my best talaga so any suggestions you have for me i am super welcome to! you can tweet me @iamsuperbianca! :-p

(aug 29) posing with the international internet sensations! :-) naaaaks! :-p that's me and in the middle is my darling make up artist rb chanco, with the stars of the youtube hit video 'we love you maria venus raj'! hahaha! left most is martin, and on the right is lex and veejay. they're so, so cute! super enjoying their new found fame doing guestings left and right! they just finished their guesting on the buzz and they passed by my make up room for snn just to say hi! :-) so sweet. nakakatuwa talaga sila. full of positivity and vibrance, alam nilang ang dami nilang napasayang tao with their video. i was telling them nga that i think sa dami ng pinoy sa l.a, i'm sure there's a pinoy on the staff of the ellen show and sana ma-feature sila! todo todo na yun! they're actually four in the video, the name of their other friend is alec. apparently he's not part of all these guestings because he holds a high position in a company and he's afraid he might be sent a memo if he does the whole showbiz route! haha. they said they're sometimes out in restaurants and people recognize them and super naninibago sila with their new found fame! cuuuute! hope you all have a blessed sunday! :-)

(aug 30) today was a crazy productive day!!!! thank you LoRd! in the photo, i'm with my cousins rica and monica and my sister aissa for a steady south lunch! actually met up with them when they were having dessert already. ayayay, this is probably the yummiest tiramisu i've had ever! so, so yummy! we're in this new restaurant in the south, mona lisa, in filinvest just by westgate. must try tiramisu talagaaaa! :-) my cousins wanted to meet up with my sister to make the most out of the time that my sister is still here. waah! the countdown is really onnnn! decided to spend the whole day with my sister. i had my nails done while my sister went shopping for basics she needs to bring to london. we met up after and did something super random and super pangfamily bonding! we bought stuff for the house! as in major appliances and things for the kitchen! sooo exciting! as in we're so excited for the stuff to have delivered to the house and by this weekend we're gonna start baking again! i missed baking! our oven got busted years ago and i'm so excited to start baking again! :-) then my sister and i bonded over merienda during sunset and then when we got home we fixed up everything! such a domesticated monday! :-)

(aug 31) mary grace is happiness!!!! hahahaha! :-) its so funny because as soon as i sit in the cafe, they ask me, 'ma'am, traditional tsokolate and grilled ensaymada pressed?' hahaa! its sort of embarrassing that i just keep ordering the same thing, but i just love it so much! and yes, grilled ensaymada, but have it pressed! hayayay, its the yummiest! when you go to mary grace be sure to order that! other stuff i love from their menu is the prawn and mango salad, the kesong puti with calamansi vinagrette salad, the mushroom truffle pasta, the vigan longganisa sandwich.. i can go on and on! :-p spent quality time again today with my sister before heading to work. i'm going live tonight from the premiere night of 'sayo lamang' in megamall! whenever i do snn live from location, i meet my team in alex's salon, in studio fix in greenbelt five. rb my make up artist goes there, then the staff of alex fix my hair, then i get all dressed and dolled up there! they're so happy because we're all from the south and so they don't have to drive all the way to qc! hahaha. hope you all have a great tuesday! :-)
