(sept 16) found this photo online today. it was taken holy week of 2007, the first and only time that toni, mariel, and i were able to go out of the country together. i actually have no idea how this picture became public, but this photo of the three of us with super puffy eyes from crying our heart out, was taken one night in hong kong that we decided to stay in, and just do all out bonding. we were all single at that time, and we all came from painful experiences. i stand by my word, this is a friendship that will last forever. :-) a lot of people have been asking me about my opinion on the toni and mariel rift, because of the tv patrol breaking news yesterday. a lot of people have also been asking me about the mariel and robin baguio rites, on tv patrol breaking news today. all i can say about both issues is that as a friend who loves toni and mariel dearly, i am in touch with them constantly, showing support and love, and i respect the space they need of what they want to keep private, and what they want to make public. of course i know what is happening in my friends' lives, what shocks me is how slowly, it is becoming public, because of course the ideal situation for me is to keep things private. i do understand though that it is part of the business. :-) its really time that'll resolve all this, and when you all find out the real and full story, it'll be clearer and everyone would understand. :-)

(sept 17) reunited with my love mariel!!!! :-) love ittt! though we text each other almost everyday, the last time i saw and really got to talk to mariel was our e live interview before she went on leave! i visited her at the hospital after her operation but we hardly got to talk there because there were so many people. so finally! the real catching up!!!! haay. :-) today is our pictorial for portfolio purposes of backroom. gosh i can't even remember the last time we had portfolio photos taken!! like four years ago?! haha, super outdated na! so we're here to update our files, so when backroom submits to clients, at least updated! haha. here shooting at doc marlon's studio. my make up by robbie pinera and hair by raymond santiago and styling by ange alarcon, mariel's make up by ting duque and hair by john valle and styling by kate paras. we have four different looks for this shoot! it'll be fun! :-)

(sept 18) this is me and my darling brother luis backstage at e live! of our group of four before, luis actually was the least close to me, only because luis and toni have been friends the longest, luis and mariel longer, and me and luis just when he did pbb teens plus. :-) it was great because today i super, super got to bond with luis. bond as in life talks ha!!!! super! as in every single segment we weren't on cam for e live, we were backstage sharing stories and life issues. nakakatuwa! luis is really a great person to have as a friend. super real and honest and trustworthy friend. :-) we were all actually also monitoring startalk side by side with e live on our tv sets backstage. it was quite a tense e live to be honest! :-o i had to relax after work so i got to enjoy quality time with my kabarkadas who i haven't seen in a long, long time. married na kasi so they hardly go out! henry and mitzi who have a baby girl, and paolo and gel who are pregnant! cuuuute! loved catching up with them at one of the better restaurants in makati that i love going to, apartment 1b! love ittt! :-) enjoy your saturday friends! :-)

(sept 19) how's your sunday going everyone? :-) this photo was taken last night at the stand up and take action event in the glorietta 4 park. it was a mystreet concert organized by different ngos and in cooperation with the different agencies of the united nations! i'm here for unicef and my role here is to explain more about mdg 2, which is basic primary education for all! i saw on ve programme flow also that kc is here for unwfp, and she'll be singing a song. :-) eek, wala akong ibang talent na maiaambag imbis na hosting eh! haha. :-p sunday is very routinary for me. i wake up, hear mass with my family, lunch with my family, do my run, then head off to work. every sunday seems to be very robotic like that! hmm.. how do i spice up my sundays kaya? :-)

(sept 20) last out of town with my mom and sister before my sister leaves for london.. this won't happen again in a long time! :-( maaaan. i'm still trying to deal with my sister leaving, its so hard to show her that i'm not sad about it, but really, i am! of course i would be, we've been together since birth! but of course, happy for her beyond words. :-) i personally love, love, love tagaytay because its near enough to feel like you're on a vacation, away from the stress of the city. from our house in paranaque is only a little over an hour away! its faster pa for me to go to tagaytay then it is to go to abs during rush hour! hahaha. my family especially love sonya's garden!!!! i love love love it here! i can sit here and eat their salad the whole day, drink their dalandan juice, sip their taragon tea, my gulaaaaaay! i really love it here! hahaha. if i were to choose i would go to tagaytay every weekend. :-) sana when i grow up i can afford to have my own place here. :-p dream, dream, dream. so many dreams!

(sept 21) i apologize, i dated my tagaytay ktxt yesterday as 21, even if its really 20! eek, sorry! :-o hello, hello friends! an extremely inspiring tuesday to all of you! :-) a few weeks ago, i was invited by my friends amina and loralee, founders of sofa or school of fashion and the arts, to their event titled 'sofa speaks'. its all about how to make art, the art that you do and are passionate about, into a business. here at the event now! on the panel are amazing artists, from left to right, fashion designer rajo laurel, furniture designer kenneth cobonpue, interior design sister duo cynthia and ivy almario, and top photographer raymund isaac. so inspiring its insane! i'm not even in the business of design but their success stories are just insanely inspiring!!!! :-) to share a few tidbits from the talk.. from the almario sisters, they joked that nothing inspires you like a deadline! haha. and that you really gotta learn the trade. not the tricks of the trade. learn it. from raymund, he shared many anecdotes like stick to the basics, less is more, and never lose the child in you! from rajo, he points out desire, power, love, and passion as driving forces. that you should register your business and pay taxes. how will it grow as a business if you just cheat your way through it. and from kenneth, he really points out that you can take inspiration from everyday things and ordinary people. he has turned things like a flattened coke can or noodles as inspiration for his award winning furniture! what an amazing talk it was! i really love the school setting and wish sofa would have a creative writing short course soon! i'm a student of life! :-)

(sept 22) i have sooo much kwento for you guys!!!!!! very rollercoaster of emotions lang talagaaaa!!!! first up, major kwento. this is a photo of me interviewing mariel for a tell all about the wedding. you must see this interview! mariel talks about the real proposal story, the details of the wedding, her fears, her answer to her detractors, their future plans, including a major revelation where mariel cries. she's so happy now that i never thought she'd cry, but with this, she did. watch out for it this saturday on e live! :-) next. sad kwento. speaking of saturday, i just heard about this today, but studio 23 is fixing programming and it looks like y speak will be affected. :-( i'm really, really saddened by this because you all know how much i love y speak. we'll still be on air, its just not sure how often. i'm really hoping for the best on this one so please help pray for us and please help us keep the brand alive! :-o third story, a flattering kwento. i'm so kilig that stylebible has two features on me now! one on the look for less of my nude pumps, and the other is that i'm nominated as style star this week! theme is killer heels! naks! please help vote for me on www.stylebible.ph! you can vote as many times as you want! :-) please vote, thank you! :-) i'm so kilig that people appreciate my shoes, yaaaay. :-)

(sept 23) check out my hair for snn tonight! braided pigtails! bwahahahaha! what if i came out on snn na ganito ang hair? you think the viewers will turn off their tv sets sa asar? hahaha. no, wait and see what this will turn out to be. in fairness to ate ester who does my hair every night, magaling talaga siya. :-) in fact, my make up artist rb has hired her for rakets as in corporate and print! love ittt. :-) had my usual long day today and actually my throat is beginning to hurt again. waaaaah, whyyyy?! will load up on vitamin c na lang again to make sure. also, my body aches like hell today! i'm not kidding its so hard to walk. i tried out the physique 57 forma work out yesterday, and i woke up today with sore legs and arms, but i still pushed myself to go to pilates! ayan, ang sakit talaga ng katawan ko. good luck to me when i wake up tomorrow! hahaha. well like they say no pain, no gain! :-) inspiration ko talaga to keep fit are hot, successful, beautiful moms like my idol tweetie de leon and model apples aberin sadwahni! i wanna be like them when i'm 40! :-p

(sept 24) this is it, the last time my sister will walk down the steps of our house in a long, long time. :-( i thought i've emotionally prepared myself for this moment, but you really can't prepare yourself enough for something like this, you just have to face it when it comes! and today is the day. waaaaah. trying to hold back the tears but its not working, and its actually making it worse. waaaaaaaah. i told my sister weeks ago that i won't be bringing her to the airport. di ko kaya. that'll just be too hard. to be honest, my sister and i aren't super, super close. we are like all other sisters who used to fight a lot as kids, its only when we grew older that we started to become really close, and we honestly take comfort in the fact knowing that when we get home, the other would always just be there to talk to, laugh with, vent out to, or just be in the same breathing space as. but now.. i don't have that anymore. :-( it really is the end of an era. we siblings are now in three different time zones. manila, san francisco, london. oh life! i know and trust that GoD has his great plans. :-)

(sept 25) behind the scenes at e live, with my wonderful bosses in the talk unit! :-) from left to right, romer our headwriter, sir lui our business unit head, sir roxy our head of promotions, eric john also with promo, me, then mico our boss in the creative team. it really is the chikahan and kwentuhan behind the scenes that is so much juicier than what you see on screen!!!! haha. but actually this time, very serious life talks kami. of course i am part of the talk unit family just as much as toni and mariel are, and the issue between them is still the news of the moment. we also talk about the developments in the talk unit, and the many changes the past couple of months. i'm so thankful that they are so supportive! as in. without their trust and encouragement, i don't think i would be as much at ease as i am on snn. grabe the way they motivate me! nakakataba ng puso. sobra. makes me feel that even though it was never my original dream to be on tv, that i do have a purpose here. i just hope that i fulfill my duties well enough that people will be entertained or aliw or inspired. :-)

(sept 27) i loooove metrowear shows!!!! as in as much as possible talaga i don't miss it. i'm just so happy that metrowear featuring cary santiago is on a monday and that means i can go! usually its on a thursday, and if it were, i'd have a full day and can't go. i'm such a fan of watching fashion shows, period! hahahaha. tonight i'm wearing a black jumpsuit by martin bautista, with full on down bangs and hair and red lips, which i'm not sending as my ktxt photo kasi i'll launch the jumpsuit on snn din a few weeks from now, sayang eh, haha! cary santiago is the featured designer of this gala show and i swear, he is a genius!!!! look at how intricate the detail of each gown is, i feel like it takes a year just to make one gown! he is a cebu based designer and really one of the best. i heard a wedding gown by him costs half a million pesos! wow! but really, his gowns are like art work so it does deserve art work price. so fabulous to see all the industry people here tonight from the top designers rajo laurel to jc buendia to randy ortiz to joey samson. also, it was so cute because the row behind us was what we called the husbands and boyfriends row. all the partners of the models who walked were there super proud taking photos when their wife or girlfriend walked down! so cute! chucho for mikaela, rafa for amina, borgy for georgina, super cute! :-)

(sept 28) at megamall getting ready to go live for snn! apparently, at the back of the cinemas, there is a holding area and a pretty cool make up room, with mirrors and lights and all! in fairness! :-) usually kasi when i go live at a premiere night, we do make up at the salon of alex carbonell in makati, then i go straight here. but now we're doing make up here and in fairness, pwedeeee! from left to right that's geeann, then my make up artist rb, then my hair stylist ate ester, then me, then my stylist ange. so this is the set up. rb kasi is now also the new favorite make up artist of erich! :-) love ittt! and since of course she is the star of this movie, super segue segue si rb! haha! i really like enchong and erich and i'm so, so happy for their success. super kadooper puno ng megamall at grabe ang sigawan ng fans nila! looks like such a fun movie and in fact, my nanay virgie who is very picky with movies, super wants passes to this movie! haha! cuuuute.

(sept 29) lady in red! :-p naaaaks! i'm here in the summit studios for a shoot for cosmo magazine. its my honor to be included by cosmo in a feature they call 'women warriors'!!!! i'm really super honored. :-) its for their november issue and its a feature on six women fighting for different causes and advocacies. included in the list, i wasn't told all the names but i heard they're in the field of women's rights, animal welfare, education.. and i'm included because of my advocacy for children's rights. i'm so flattered and humbled. such a blessing that i can get to talk about it and share what i'm fighting for with a lot of people! the interview with me was so good, i loved the questions that they asked me. i was able to go back to the feeling on the site visits, my learnings, and how i can encourage others to fight for their own causes. :-) again, i invite you if you aren't yet, please be a unicef champion for children. whether you're based in the country or abroad, you can sign up! all you need is a credit card. for just a minimum amount a month, you can provide kids with school supplies or with oral rehydration salts to keep them from getting sick. how much is starbucks a day, or even vendo coffee a day? how much is your daily toll, or parking? for P600 a month, that's just P20 a day, which doesn't cost as much as your favorite snack, you can make a huge difference in so many kids lives. think about it. :-) i promise you its worth it. :-) you can sign up on www.unicef.ph or call (02)7501000. :-)

(sept 30) woooohoooo!!!! one big fight!!!! three peat baby!!!! :-) i am so, super, super proud to be an atenean! yeaaaaaaaah! feu is such a good, strong team but i guess ateneo really wanted it more. we are the champions!!!! :-) hahaha! the energy here in the araneta coliseum is wiiiild! talagang all out both teams in cheering its almost deafening! i'm so, so, so thankful to nike philippines, specially mae dichupa who is the one who has given me my awesome patron tickets for this season. ang saya saya pa kasi lahat kaming magkakasama, ateneo alumni! we were also with sarah meier and her husband banj, the boys of parokya ni edgar including vinci, miggy of chicosci, former player wesley g, haha, one of the boys ang dating talaga! here's the catch. our tickets were feu side! hahahaha! i was wondering why my ticket said please wear gold. yun pala wrong side kami! hahaha. pero okay lang kasi magkakasama naman kami so di nakakahiyang mag cheer. :-p galing ng nike because they sponsor both ateneo and feu so this final series was really theirs! i loooove nike! :-) what an ultra full day! usually i have tfc taping in the afternoon but i had to move it earlier so i could escape for the game! i'm so thankful they allowed me! after this i'm rushing back for cinema news then for snn taping then live! phew! but its all worth it! champions!!!! :-)
