(sept 1) aaaaw, do you remember maemae? i always used to send ktxts about her! she was our head writer in y speak years ago, and one me my very, very good friends! around three years ago, mae moved to dubai for the same reason many pinoys work abroad, for a brighter future. :-) we miss her, she misses us, but we're happy for her and she's happy! our episode for y speak this saturday is all about the hostage taking crisis last week.. how it affected our relations with other countries and how it affected pinoys living abroad. maemae is one of those we interviewed via skype, and we also interviewed katrina, a pinay working in singapore. i'm so happy to have jiggy cruz with us on the team! he's obviously very passionate about our country and the youth, and he's also very passionate about the show! sadly, sir jim libiran isn't with the team anymore, but we're all very thankful to have gotten to work with him even for a short while, and we learned a lot from him! its a very long wednesday for me, and after taping for y speak, we're doing live snn! i'm so happy whenever people come up to me and say they watch snn, and super happy also when people tell me they're subscribed to my ktxt! jet and marj of marketing, nikki of star cinema, i'm so kilig even abs people are on my ktxt! and of course my loyal biancsters and angels, yaay! thank you, thank you, thank you! :-) will always try to make every ktxt sulit! :-)

(sept 2) i'm super loving this lbd from meg!!!! :-) wearing it to this week's episode of cinema news, paired it with bracelets from avon fashions and russian red lipstick from mac! feeling vampy ba? pagbigyan niyo na ako, minsan lang naman! :-p having an insanely busy day today and i'm hoping my voice makes it til the end of the day! hahaha. you know how my throat easily gets weak and gets sore. i taped for tfc, did voice over for y speak, did voice over for the first time for snn because cesca was unavailable today, did voice over for cinema news which is honestly the longest most tiring voice over ever as in it takes like half an hour, its super mega draining, then tape spiels for cinema news, then snn taping, then snn live. pagod!!!! i do love the hectic days because it really makes you feel so productive and alive, but i also love the down times in between. like making kwentuhan and chismisan with rb my make up artist and ange my stylist is priceless! so sweet because they are both doing so, so well and i'm so, so proud of them! rb does print ads and campaigns left and right, plus does ma'am charo's make up all the time and other big stars like sarah and charlene, and ange recently joined the mega magazine team! crazy proud of them!!!! and they are so sweet because just today they were telling me how thankful they are to me because they say i'm their lucky charm! like great things have happened in their careers since they started working closely with me. aaaaaaaw. that just makes my heart melt. i'm so touched they think that of me. i've also just been surrounded by great people who helped me achieve anything i've achieved thus far! you truly get what you give, and keep giving i say. :-) :-) :-) :-)

(sept 3) look who's up and about! mariel!!!! :-) she had a very successful operation yesterday, and today she is up and about! visited her today and as usual she was super makwento, super energetic, super blooming, parang walang nangyaring operation! :-p hahaha! her room was quite full actually, some members of the e live family was also there to get pictures for airing on e live tomorrow, and of course robin was there and his son ali was there too! :-) ali is the cutest i swear!!!! super guapo, super english, super makwento. hahaha! he and ma were discussing which operation was more painful, if it was ma's operation, or if it was ali's operation on his appendix around a year ago. so cute, he was making kwento how he was a brave boy and even if he doesn't like injections, he doesn't cry. cuuuute! thankfully mariel's operation was super successful and she just has to rest for a few more days. :-)

(sept 4) as the nike tagline goes, just do it!!!! here now at the annual gabriel symphony event organized by ate pia cayetano to show support! :-) i actually think i'm half asleep in this photo because i got home like close to 5AM from a night out! kalurkssss! actually my legs ache badly still because of all the dancing last night, haha! got to sleep over two hours before heading here and i haven't slept that short in a long time so i'm trying to stay up! haha. i'm here to pledge support my friend drew's iron man, and ate pi's daughter nadine's triathlon for kids! galing ni drew, he's gonna do his iron man together with maiqui, another good friend of ate pi who does the iron man every year here at gabriel to raise funds, and this year maiqui raised a million pesos! amazing! :-) the tri for kids that nadine did is a 200m swim, 5k bike, 1k run. if only it weren't nakakahiya to join the kids, i would totally do their tri! haha. right after this, heading to rush to e live today. :-) hope you all have a great and blessed weekend. :-)

(sept 5) i am born, bred, and forever will be a south girl! look at how beeeeautifully steady alabang town center is! :-) those of you who know me know that i don't really like working on sundays, but i do choose to look at the brighter side. first, there's no traffic, and second, i always look forward to steady south nights in town center! as in i literally am giddy with excitement driving home because i know i can tambay heeeere! :-p okay fine, fine, as you can guess, yes i went to mary grace for dessert, and yes i had traditional tsokolate and grilled ensaymada pressed! hahaha. had a very steady day today, mass with my sister, a long, quality lunch with my sister while watching a marathon of canada's next top model on tv, then i went for a run, got ready for work, and head to snn for taping! i'm a bit sad though because last minute my make up artist couldn't make it, and i didn't have my make up kit with me, so super, super stress! but then the mantra is, don't sweat the small stuff! :-p have a blessed sunday! :-)

(sept 6) its a super domesticated day today! super feeling homemaker ako! :-p started off the morning by meeting with our contractor to have new shelves made for my walk in closet slash my brother's room! right now kasi kawawa all my shoes they're in shoeboxes just by a room beside our garage so that straight to the car whenever i need it! but kawawa talaga sila nakapatong lang dun, they deserve more love! haha. after that my sister and i head to the supermarket to do groceries! i love doing groceries!!!! my gosh ang gastos lang! parang every aisle you pass, you're like, 'ooh i need this!' kahit hindi naman! hahaha. but super fulfilling to choose the freshest, the best for your family! naks! haha. we also had to shop for all our ingredients to use for baking! yaaaaay! :-) we used to bake all the time when i was like in grade school, but when our oven got busted we naturally stopped. so happy to get to bake again! love this super classic recipe for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies! :-) now i hope to be baking at least once every week! :-)

(sept 7) i love toni g!!!! :-) super missed this girl. so happy i finally get to do a one on one interview with her for snn confessions. :-) she came from her location for the shoot of her movie with john lloyd, to do this interview to promote kokey at ako, then after this she is heading back to shooting! was getting ready for the interview when her make up artist onyok and hairstylist macy knocked on my dressing room door, and said 'oops, mali sorry', and i instantly jumped on my feet and said 'nooooo! stay heeeere!' maaan, imagine. after being together almost everyday for both pbb and e live, this is the first time toni and i shared a dressing room since the big night! the big night! sheeeeesh! that was mid june pa! i terribly miss toni. :-) she and paul attended the star magic ball, both their first time, and she told me about all the chismis she observed! :-p our interview, to be aired this week on snn, is all about important people in her life, from her sister alex to her mommy pinty, to her one and only paul, to her new leading man jl to her perennial leading man vhong. this girl is so busy its crazy! imagine, a movie, a soap, plus asap and buzz, with mall shows and recordings and pictorials in between. she's really the ultimate multimedia star! sometimes i still can hardly believe she's my friend. hahaha! hay, i wish i could see toni more often. super miss her!

(sept 8) ice skating at sm mall of asia! :-) hello from me and my y speak crew! oh wow, if only we had time to stay here i would rent skates and do a few rounds! waah! eh we are super on a tight schedule so no time to play around! as a kid, my favorite was actually rollerblades but i also liked ice skating! we're here now to do our 'panalo ang pinoy' episode. i'm here to interview the philippine ice skating team, and also to do spiels. :-) we are also featuring jovit baldivino, and the animators of ambient media! plus we have a countdown of some of our top pinoy achievers! it'll be a very inspiring episode. :-) i've also decided on what my look for y speak will be! it'll be very patrol ng pilipino. hahaha! i've invested na on different colors of this collared top. love them!

(sept 9) hello from cinemanews! :-) we really only tape now in the office of ccpmg in the 8F of abs! i honestly am super nahihiya cause we sometimes ask people to move desk or not be noisy, hahaha, but all in all okay lang naman cause feeling ko its also a break from their routine every day. haha. so controversial though because for this episode of cinema news we're airing a photo taken at the star magic ball showing gerald and bea leaving the ball together hand in hand! i was also very shocked to see the photo because i myself am a big kimerald supporter since big brother days pa. check out the photo, and you be the judge. :-o super hectic day again today with tfc, cinema news, y speak, and snn taping then live. i still really need to find a way to be less safe and have spicy comments for snn.. i do my research and ask around a lot but sometimes there's nothing to comment din eh! hmm.. anyway. special shout out to my ktxt friends reading this who also message me on twitter! i'm so kilig when you tweet me your reactions about my ktxt. ang sweet sweet talaga makes me smile! thank you! :-)

(sept 10) and the baking streak continues!!!! yummmm! :-) okay.. before i get to my kwento for today, i actually got a lot of comments from you guys about my cinema news kwento of the picture of gerald and bea. i mean no disrespect to anyone at all ha! i do love kimerald, but i also want to make it clear that i'm a big fan of bea too! she's really one of the best actresses of this generation, 'one more chance' is my most favorite local romantic drama ever, plus i have to say that bea is super, super, super mabait talaga. even toni always tells me. so i love kim, i love gerald, i love bea, its just always sad when there are issues being thrown at artists, but then again its really part of the business! :-o okay. now that's clear. moving on to my kwento for today. today's recipe is.. snicker doodles! its basically a cinammon cookie, but then we tried variations like putting chocolate chips on top, putting a bunch of chocolate chips in the center, and the other one plain. i really love baking!!!! buying an oven is one of the best decisions ever! :-) if you wanna check out cool recipes online, you can check out the site the 'joy of baking'. parang ang sarap to be a homemaker! i'll practice pa baking some more. :-)

(sept 11) good morning from liberato damian elementary school here in pasig! the philippine daily inquirer invited unicef to do a read along with kids and they said it would be the perfect activity for me! awesome! :-) :-) :-) :-) i haven't woken up this early in so long but for this i did! read along is a project of inquirer do a few years now and this is the first time unicef is in on it. so here we have a group of 25 kids, mix of grade five and six, boys and girls, and they are all kids affected by the ondoy tragedy almost a year ago. and my story book to read was by author ceres doyo, a story inspired by the ondoy floods and how people got together. it was so hard because usually story telling for kids involves happy stories that are fun, with talking animals or funny characters! this was about a kid named bitiun and her family and how they were evacuated and how they helped each other to get back home. so emotional! but the kids i must say are so inspiring because when you ask them about the experience, more than remembering the negative and the bad, they talk about how happy they were to go back home, or how they got close to neighbors, or how they learned to clean up garbage. how insanely inspiring right?! instead of using tragedy to be broken or bitter, they used it to grow and learn. :-) every single experience with unicef is so inspiring, i am so lucky and so blessed, thank you GoD! :-)

(sept 12) sunday night out??!! hahahaha! what was supposed to be a small intimate sunday dinner turned into a big dinner and drinks and lots of laughs! random is fun!!!! :-) been planning a dinner with tim and liz and robby since our hong kong trip, and it finally pushed through! but as the saying goes the more the merrier so we turned out to be such a big group! joining us were tim's partner nivat, the ultra hot solenn and georgina with borgy, ben from hk, everyone's fave photog mark, and the birthday boy juan! ang saya saya! :-) right after snn taping i rushed to dusit hotel for the dinner in their thai resto benjarong. nivat is thai and he claims that this is the most delicious, most authentic thai food in manila! and it did not disappoint! wow super busoooog!!!! i feel like we ate everything on the menu! haha! pomelo and catfish salad, fried shrimp, prawn pancakes, pad thai, curry chicken, steamed veggies, and even dessert na thai version of palitaw i just don't know the name, plus sticky rice with mango. aaaaay, sooo yummy! and sooo full! hahaha. after dinner we moved to the lobby for some drinks. super kwentuhan at tawanan galore lang! everything from showbiz gossip to funny commercials to personal lives to reminiscing about the 80s and 90s! such a hilarious bunch! hope all of you are having a great sunday as well! :-)

(sept 13) its bonding time for the gonzalez girls! :-) its a quality time monday afternoon for me and my sister and mom here in the steady south. :-) we all had errands to run today so we decided to all meet up for merienda in town center. love ittt! today was a super domesticated day, my errands included the usual bank, accountant, emails.. then my sister and i head out to buy stuff for the house, stuff for her trip, and groceries! i love, love, love the P88 store! you find all the coolest little things or toys or containers for only P88! stuff that'll make you say, 'hmm.. i need this!' kahit di naman. hahaha! today was also such a zobel day. in one afternoon i bumped into four different batchmates in the mall! as in, what are the chances, on a monday workday?! haha. we're actually all excited because by next month we'll be having our ten year reunion out of high school. ten years!!!! isn't that insane??!! haha. but it sounds like its so much fun. :-) our counterparts sa ateneo high had their ten year reunion just a week ago and super laugh trip and fun their stories from their reunion! can't wait til ours tuloy! :-)

(sept 14) my shoe shelves are finally done! yaaaay! :-) for the longest time, all my shoe boxes were just kalat in the room right before you go out in the garage, for easy loading into my car when i go to work. but it looks so messy plus having the boxes one on top of the other makes the box at the bottom of the pile super kawawa kaya i had to have this done na! thanks to my sister and her carpenter contacts, bilang she's an interior designer, without having to spend so much, my shoes now have a more organized home! :-) haha! i like keeping the boxes of my shoes because it keeps the shoes away from dust and it keeps the shape of the shoes. you can just imagine though how much of a hassle it is to bring home since most of my shoes i buy when i travel! sayang sa space lagi! haha, but its all worth it naman in the long run. :-) next on my agenda, when i have the time, is to take a photo of each pair and print it out so i can stick the photo of the shoes outside the boxes. also so i can catalogue it properly! para naman i can use even the older ones! i sometimes feel kawawa my older shoes kasi nakakalimutan na sila! hahaha. one thing constantly on my mind though, with my heels na tipong six inches high.. i don't think i'll be using those when i'm like 40, 45, what will i do with them?? hahaha. or maybe i can be a fab mom in the future who still walks in sky high heels. :-p

(sept 15) its snn confessions time again and this time its with melai! :-) of course she's our baby from pbb so it was super my honor to do this interview! i love snn confessions because i feel i get to practice my interviewing skills, and with each interview i learn more of what i should and shouldn't do. si tito boy kasi has been doing it for years and is so, so, so good and i just honestly feel so eng eng when i watch his interviews! ang galing niya talaga! i can only dream of being that good in the future. haha! melai's interview was fun, it was all about how she has adjusted since pbb days to today that she's a big star. love ittt! she's just really so funny and i kept laughing the whole interview!!!! although to this day i admit that sometimes she talks so fast that i can't understand what she's saying. hahaha! also today in tv patrol and even on twitter i was affected about the news on my dearest, dearest sisters toni and mariel that came out. i didn't get to watch tv patrol but so many people tweeted me about it, and the whole of tonight i was texting with toni and mariel. i will never take sides with the two of them because i love them both will all my heart and i know for a fact that they are amazingly good and great human beings that will never do anything to hurt the other. in time this will get fixed. i honestly, truly believe. :-) GoD is good. :-)
