(nov 1) happy all saints day everyone. :-) this is the site where my abuelito and abuelita on my dad's side lay. this long weekend is good because people aren't rushing to the cemeteries all in one day! usually we just bring candles and mats to sit down on and food.. but this year my mom decided to bring pictures of all our most loved ones who passed away. personally i find it a bit freaky. hahaha! but i do know of a lot of other people who do it, because i guess it also helps you pray harder for their souls because you see their faces. not clear in the ktxt photo but left to right that's my tita maruch, sister of my abuelita. then my ninang vangie, the coolest aunt ever, she was a surfer by profession. then my tita nena, an awesome baker and cook. then my abuelito pari, as in the brother of my mom's dad, fr. rudy who passed away recently like i wrote on my blog. then my grandparents on my dad's side. its very solemn in manila memorial. its raining though so i sort of feel like i'm on the set of a movie. passed the area of ninoy and cory on the way here and its just overwhelming how many people were lined up just to pray there and give flowers! i remember so vividly when i was there to attend cory's burial. so moving. hope all of you are spending time with your loved ones, or praying for your loved ones. :-) stay blessed! :-)

(nov 2) welcome to trx class! :-) if you've heard of trx but are wondering what it looks like, well here it is! basically its a work out based on suspension. you work out with these straps and your weights end up being the weight of your own body. i'm more of a yoga and pilates type of person but i also tried out trx to see what its all about! i liked it naman. its very tough and you can really feel it burning your muscles. but i really do prefer pilates more! trx works with straps, and pilates works with springs. and i feel i like using springs more, because there's tension both ways when you either push or pull. i really am loving pilates a lot! mahal lang compared to other work outs, but i find that its worth it. :-) soon, there is a bikram yoga studio opening in the south and i'm just so, so, so happy because its the moment i've been waiting for! hahaha. its really good to come up with a regular fitness regimen that fits you. as i grow older i really realize the importance of exercising. we're not as young as we used to be and we have to put extra effort to stay in shape.

(nov 3) its date night with liz! hahahaha. i swear, its so funny, more and more people are noticing that parang we're boyfriend-girlfriend. and what's funny is that i get the feeling na parang ganun na nga! hahaha. in fact, in our snn special on friday, i think the topic is new bffs and if i'm not mistaken, kasama ata kami sa line up! haha, laugh trip diba?! its a show i host but i'll be featured din, funny lang. i'm wearing a pink lace romper from topshop, gray oversized vest from bangkok, jean pants from h&m, beige platform heels from bebe. :-) i first had my hair color enhanced at studio fix by alex carbonell in greenbelt five, then i rushed to rockwell to meet up with liz! we had movie date to watch kimerald's movie. i know its a drama but i swear liz and i kept laughing because the movie had sooo many quotable quotes, as in super naka relate either siya or ako! i hope nga di naasar the people seated near us kasi ang ingay namin! tagos yung ibang linya talaga eh, haha! then of course a little girly shopping after. hope you're all having a fun wednesday! :-)

(nov 4 ) its christmas here in the abs cbn compound!!!! :-) check out the beautiful giant christmas tree in our lobby! the red carpet is not usual though, that's just because the guest of honor for tonight is president noy. and those are his vehicles waiting for him by the driveway, not sure if you can see it in the photo! started my day suuuuper early today. i did first reading for the mass this morning where all our abs bosses attended. what an honor! :-) its a quadruple celebration today for abs. first is the 82nd birth anniversary of the founding father of abs, geny lopez. second is the awarding of our bayaning pilipino 2010. third is the inauguration of the elj communications center. and fourth is the launch of our christmas season, along with the launch of the station id! :-) ang saya saya! :-) today was so full but so fulfilling. spent the morning getting to do a quick chat with our bosses. super inspiring and overwhelming to hear them say such nice things. thank you maam charo, tita cory, sir gabby, tita linggit, sir march and sir august, naku i really love being part of this family! :-)

(nov 5) hello, hello from gloomy london!!!! :-) i love ittt!!!! :-) its my first time here and i'm so excited and i just can't hide it!!!! :-) originally my plan was to do london, florence, and rome.. but since i couldn't take a long break from work, all i'm doing now is london. eight hour flight from manila, connecting in the middle east, then another eight hours to heathrow. sooo tired from the trip but go, go, go lang! :-) here i am in the famous london underground! my sister's boyfriend james picked me up from the airport, then we went to their apartment to see my sister. happiness!!!! i couldn't wipe the smile off my face when i was walking the streets of london! i swear nothing beats my happiness when traveling! sooo happy!!!! :-) i thought i was too exhausted to go out, but my sister made me a cup of coffee and said i had to go out. so we went to james' friends house party to celebrate something they call guy fawkes night and it was sooo much fun!!!! everyone was in costume, you get drinks from a bathtub, there were ice sculptures, a dj, japanese dancers, waaaay cool! i love london! :-)

(nov 6.1) i'm sooo sorry i accidentally pressed the send button on my message earlier! boo! sorry! hope you don't mind i'm sending you another ktxt but this time i'm with my sister in the photo. welcome to officially one of my favorite places in the world, borough market!!!! :-) aaaah, i love it! its sort of a food and basics market near the area of london bridge and they have so many awesome things from cheeses to mushrooms to oils to all kinds of sandwiches to all kinds of meat and bird, waaaah! its heaven! :-) we're free taste testing left and right and i swear this is really pure happiness!!!! :-) i'm wearing heels today and i swear i'm choosing looks over comfort, haha. walked probably a total of 50 blocks today and even if my feet hurt, i felt it was sooo worth it! :-) we went all over central london as in it was so surreal to see it all! the big ben, the house of parliament, westminster abbey where princess di got married, the famous london eye, london bridge and tower bridge, covent garden with all these nice shops and street performers, the soho area where they have all the cinemas where they hold all the big london premieres, the gorgeous trafalgar square which is picturesque like anything, and we ended up in the posh regent and oxford streets where all the shopping is! i didn't shop yet though. hard to carry around. i'm having so much fun as in!!!! i really am happiest when traveling. :-)

(nov 7) i absolutely love just walking around the streets of london!!!! :-) happiness!!!! :-) i guess for this trip i really feel fashion comes before comfort so again i'm wearing heels! hahaha! they're wedge booties naman so they're not that uncomfortable.. medyo lang. haha! if yesterday was central london day, today we're hitting up west london. as in notting hill! woohoooo! its a very, very charming place. top of my list to go to here is portobello market. its a long, long road where there are shops after shops after shops of vintage finds, and cafes, and unique items.. if only i wasn't so pressed for time, i would really spend my whole day here! its beautiful! its like one of my favorite areas in san francisco, ashbury-haight, also the vintage and flea area. amazing. :-) :-) :-) :-) we ate at this super cool place called the tabernacle, its literally an abandoned church turned into a super hip restaurant and a community center! love it! i also saw the bookshop from the movie notting hill, passed by the twenty8twelve store of sienna miller, walked through the gorgeous hyde park, then strolled along the shops at high street kensington. i'm really milking every second of this trip for what its worth! i am super loving london!!!! :-)

(nov 8) i love museums! when i travel i make it a point to spend hours and hours in the city's must see museum! and for this trip its the beautiful v&a!!!! :-) its the victoria and albert museum and it houses everything from ancient parts of old churches to a dress from the latest collection of alexander mcqueen. super cool museum as in!!!! i loved the sculpture section, the fashion section, the photography section. i love it! and the facade of the museum, so beautiful, looks like an old royal mansion. i wanted to do a tumbling shot there but today is my day going around the city alone and so i had no one to take my picture!  in the photo is this massive piece of art on the ceiling of the lobby of v&a. its so nice! i'm also in love with their cafe and their gift shop. :-) like i said its alone day for me and so aside from the museum, today i'm wandering around the area of harrods to see what its all about, and also i'm gonna just get myself lost in the shopping streets of sloane, regent, and oxford. :-) so, so, so happy!!!! i wish my vacation were longer because i love this city! but i am extremely thankful i was even allowed to leave. thank you GoD! :-)

(nov 9) its my last morning in london! i'm sooo sad! i'm officially really, really in love with this city. its now on my top five favorite cities in the world. to top it all off, spending time with my sister again has been indescribable!!!! i will miss london! got up early to be able to prepare breakfast with my sister, make kwentuhan, and bond over coffee for her and hot chocolate for me. i hate this feeling that i have to say bye to her again. i remember crying for like half an hour straight that day she left for london, and now we have to have this separating feeling again. i told her how lucky she is because at least she's coming home to manila this christmas for probably the best christmas of our lives.. a reunited christmas! :-) that's in a month, so at least its something to look forward to. we tried to pack in another site before i leave, and this photo i'm sending you is from westminster cemetery.. don't know if you recognize it, but if you look closely you'll see its the exact location of where they shot the movie 'sherlock holmes'! i'm so starstruck just being here! i can't believe this is the actual location where rdj and my super crush jude law shot a film! ang sayaaaa! such a cool place to visit. tombs here have such elaborate sculptures and some date back to the 1800s! wild! its not a popular tourist destination, but my sister told me about it and we definitely had to check it out. :-) i really love london! :-)

(nov 10) this is my goodbye london photo! aaaaaaw. i'm back in manila and going straight to snn!!!! after an eight hour flight, two hour lay over, another extended nine hour flight, i'm finally back and headed straight to work! i left london it was raining, and i got to manila it was raining! hahaha. so tired but soooooo happy from my trip. :-) i love london and i loved being with my sister! she cried when we parted ways and of course i cried too. so nice to be with her even for a few days. i'm so proud of her for doing so well in school and choosing to try a new life there! in this photo i'm at the base of the staircase in their flat, with all my luggage and ready to go! i'm wearing my sister's beanie, beige dress top from kate moss' final collection for topshop, black leather jacket from h&m, leather leggings from topshop, black booties from aldo. hahaha, and yes, i'm still wearing heels kahit pa-airport na lang! hahahaha! masyado na ata akong nawili sa pagka-feeling pumorma! haha. hope you are all well while reading this ktxt! :-)

(nov 11) i'm sooo kilig i'm dyiiiiiing!!!! as in i'm having fainting spells here sa sobrang kiliiiiiig!!!! :-) in between my uber long day today i was lounging at the tv prod office with my talk unit and pbb unit family, and all of a sudden a messenger comes up to me carrying a white box and he says, 'delivery po for you ma'am bianca'.. i was super puzzled because no one really ever delivers anything for me! until he adds, 'galing po kay ma'am korina.' nakakalokaaaaaaaaaaa! hahahaha! i swear i died of shock and kilig and happiness and gratitude!!!! waaaaaah!!!! imagine my super idol not only knows my name, but also was gracious enough to send me a gift!!!! i still can't get over it!!!! apparently she watched snn that day we did a feature on the new tv patrol, with her and kabayan, and of course since she's my idol, words of praise naturally come out of my mouth! so she saw that and apparently was so touched that she sent me this box of ensaymada.. and the best part.. a handwritten card!!!! nakakahimataaaay!!!! hahaha! it said that though its hard to go back to the daily grind, comments like mine make it a little easier. comments like mine??!! waaaah! who would've thought my idol would ever care about anything i say?! waaaah! hahaha! to top it all off, the end of the card was 'love, korina' as in a heart then her name. love!!!! not just from or a signed name, loooove! she loves me! hahaha! sorry to super gush, i'm just sooo happy and sooo starstruck!!!! :-)

(nov 12) meet tatay! hahaha! cute, cute, cute ni tatay! he is one of our lightmen in pbb and one of the most unique characters ever! he's really one of the older ones and he has quirks like biglang mag iingay in the middle of a spiel, or biglang manggugulat sa mga kasama, and he always has laugh trip words of wisdom! since there's no pbb now, we don't get to work together now, but today friday snn is going live and i bumped into him by the old building, and he helped me carry my stuff all the way to the new building! sabi ko wag na, pero he insisted because tengga pa daw siya at walang ginagawa! haha. cuuuute! so cute i had to take a photo of him and this is what i'm sending you! i'm so not used to working on a friday, and in fact i was suuuuper stuck in terrible traffic today! i really just love staying south on a friday because i don't have to deal with all the chaos and the traffic. today was my first time to go out and have dinner in eastwood mall, its pretty nice there! we ate at a super yummy resto there called lucky niku, you cook your own beef, sarap!

(nov 13) at the pmpc star awards with my handsome date luis!!!! :-) and look at his picture at the program, haha, parang ang bubot na ewan! hahaha! eto na, soooobrang aga namin dito and we're so bored just waiting for people to get here and for the program to start! we're just making kulit with all the people around us para malibang! haha. two of my favorite moments at the awards night were first, when they announced that toni won best female tv host, luis and i thought she wasn't at the venue yet! because an hour before that, we were texting and she hasn't been released from her movie set yet! luis told me to go up on stage and i said no way, i have no connection to the award for asap! then luis went up since it was for asap! just as he got on stage, toni walked in from backstage! tawa lahat ng tao! but luis being an awesome host says on the mic, 'di po kasi ako nanalo best male tv host, kaya nag baka sakali ako manalo sa female category.' hahaha! laugh trip, that's my date! so fun to be with luis here because every nomination i have, he screams and claps, 'that's my date! woohoo!' hahaha, sweet. :-) second favorite part of star awards was when toni won for best reality show host for pbb and she shared the award with mariel and i because she says pbb belongs to us three.. aaaaw, my heart melted.. :-)
