(feb 1) happy first day of the love month!!!!  its a steady rest day for me today in manila, so i'm sending you a photo of a sign i took while going around singapore, that really jumped at me! it was huge, in big bold white letters against black and read, 'shoes make me happy. i'm superficial. whatever.' hahahahaha! i love itttt! :-) shoes super make me happy talagaaaa! i wouldn't say i'm superficial, but when its about shoes, okay, maybe i am, a bit. hahaa! got to run today.. and i have a new goal i'm trying to achieve. to run a strong 30 minutes straight without my usual brisk walk rest in between. i don't really dream of being a runner, but i do want to be able to do a 5K easily! as of now i can run 30 minutes straight, but at a constant speed, i want to be able to up my speed to have a slow run and a fast run! i have a good friend from high school, ben, who is running the 42K at next week's condura run. 42 kilometres!?!! what the?? so i better work on my 5K! :-)

(feb 3) its a dinner date with one of my good friends, mori! :-) i'm sure those of you who have been subscribed to kxt for a long time now, or those who have been reading my blog, you for sure know mori! he was actually my very first boss in abs-cbn, when i was in production. i remember the first time i met him, i was a junior in college, wearing a pink and white striped sando and white linen pants, i knocked on the door and said, 'excuse me, is mr. rodriguez there?' and now we look back at that day and laugh. we've both grown so much and gone such a long way! after a year as a brainstormer in the creative development group, with mori heading the group, i went on to transition as a host, and my first show on the main channel was y speak. which mori became the executive producer of. until we both branched out in our respective careers, but we still remain good friends! mori is one of the most brilliant minds i know. he now heads the digital content department of abs, and their first major project are the imortal webisodes. its so, so, so good to catch up!!!! :-)

(feb 4) i'm back in schoooooool!!!! :-) woohoo! :-) its sooo nice to visit the campus that i love so dearly! walking through the halls and by the street, makes me feel that i'm really home! call me cheesy but i really love my school and i'm very proud to be atenean! :-) hahahaha! here i am at the reason i'm here now. to eat at my most favorite place to eat in when i was a student.. manangs!!!! :-) they serve the yummiest barbeque liempo and breaded porkchop! :-) i was sooo surprised to find out they have more ulam now, as in adobo, binagoongan, and other vegetable based dishes! grabe! tapos you can also buy extra itlog na pula at kamatis to add to your meal. ang saraaaaaaap i swear! :-) and 'manang' has such an inspiring story. alamat na kasi itong manangs. its been year for how many decades now and she actually got to send her son to school ateneo all the way, and now her son junie, is very successful in the states! :-) she's simple and sweet as ever. :-) walking around here, the campus looks so, so, so different though! and all the students look so young! i feel old! :-p

(feb 5) my first time at salon de ning! :-) this restaurant lounge was launched maybe over a month ago, but i was never able to go.. until last night! the place has great interiors! nice lamps, intricate details.. i heard from top designer rajo laurel that apparently salon de ning's concept, is she's the make believe lover of mao tse tung! interesting! finally stepped foot here because liz invited me to go meet up with her and her mom, for a night of ballroom dancing! haha! i don't go ballroom dancing pero dance dance lang is fine na! :-) so much fun pa because salon de ning is in manila pen, and in the ballroom at the hotel was a wedding where luis was! so we all met up, luis, liz, and i! liz and luis have apparently been close way back since college, so the three of us have been wanting to meet up. finally, and randomly, we all got together! :-) this night was also sooo much fun because we were just with our becky friends! its always, always sooo much fun with them!!!! :-)

(feb 6) adorable baby girl kenken! :-) isn't she the cuuuutest?! :-) for those of you who follow cheska garcia or doug kramer on twitter, you surely already know kendra aka kenken. ay, how cute this little girl!!!! here she is under their dining table, dancing on her butt while the tv is on star world on the show live to dance. those are doug's legs behind her, and when i made her silip under the table, i said 'tickle daddy's feet! tickle daddy's feet!' and she would, and so doug would flinch his feet, and kenken will start giggling wildly! super nakakagigil this baby girl! she has the fattest double chin i've ever seen on a little girl! aaaaw, which makes her even so adorable! :-) spending a steady sunday night in doug and cheska's house, over snacks and dvds! :-) i've gotten to know this couple more the past couple of weeks and they're one of the most loving, down to earth couples i know! they may physically look intimidating because of their mestizo features, but they're two of the nicest and warmest people i know. :-)

(feb 7) i think bonifacio high street in the fort is really one of the prettiest places to hang out in! :-) rows of cafes and boutiques, trees and plants, and a nice, cool breeze. totally my type of place!!!! :-) i'm a huge fan of chicken wings, and just today i discovered one of the most delicious chicken wings i've tried in manila! as innnn! its the signature chicken wings of new orleans, a restaurant here on high street. its a place much like friday's and italliani's, and its my first time to try it here! ayayay, i tell you, the chicken wings are sooo good! and i'm very picky when it comes to chicken wings. it has this super rich spicy barbeque sauce, and this super flavorful blue cheese dip. ang saraaaap! :-) will definitely be coming back here just for the wings. :-) i also love the spa here in high street, its one of the biggest! also of course their fully booked. i can spend hours and hours just browsing at the books and magazines! then there's also a huge dimensione where i love just looking around and i begin to imagine all the nice things i'd like to have in my future home! i love imagining what my future home will look like! :-) then there's muji. a shop i super love, but to be honest, i've never entered the muji here in manila! haha! if only i had a dog, i would bring the dog here to high street and enjoy a nice walk.. or run! :-)

(feb 8) dvd shopping! :-) please buy only original, and not pirated! :-) today i took time out to go to the mall to run some errands, and i decided to grab a few dvds! these are two movies i absolutely love! se7en, one of my favorite movies ever, is a super cool suspense movie starring brad pitt, morgan freeman, and kevin spacey. this movie sparked my interest in wanting to become a writer for film! this is why dream ko dati maging writer! such a brilliant story and how crafty how they used the seven deadly sins as the centerpoint of the movie. a must watch! :-) then next, i was so happy to find a dvd of big time! it was one of the best cinemalaya films i've ever seen, so funny, so smart, so well made, panalo talaga! its about a pair of small time robbers who decide to try out doing a big time crime. laugh trip! you should also definitely seen this if you haven't yet! :-) i need to brush up on my movies.. i want to get into the groove of watching more foreign and local independent films! any suggestions on what i should see? :-)

(feb 9) its a day to be a kid all over again!!!! :-) out of the blue and so randomly, looking for something to do, my friend jc and i ended up at.. timezoooone!!!! woohoo!!!! :-) and for those asking, yes, its my first time to ktxt about it! yes, jc is a fairly new friend of mine, just about a few months, but we've grown to be very close. :-):-):-):-) haha. back to my story. we were deciding what to do in the mall.. movie, kain, spa.. and what suddenly won? timezone! hahaha! masaya grabe! first i chose the basketball game, and jc kasi is passionate about basketball so of course talo ako dun! then i chose a game na may machine gun, ay ang saya saya! that was my favorite! in fact we finished all our credits there! and.. in fairness to me, maybe because i aim better, i won over jc in the shooting game! woohoo! tried all these other pambata games para lang laugh trip. :-) so just for P220, you get P300 load, and you can play for around a whole hour! :-)

(feb 10) happy yipee yeheeeeeey!!!! :-) here's a behind the scenes peek at the rehearsals for the launch of abs cbn's noontime show, happy yipee yehey! :-) and i'm so, so happy today because today i finally got to meet up with toni and mariel! the three of us, reunited! waaaaaaaaaaah!!!! :-) i'm not kidding, i literally wanted to burst into tears seeing the two of them on the stage, together, smiling and laughing.. and i wanted to burst into tears during their break and the three of us were seated beside each other, making kwentuhan, just like the good ol' times.. i told both of them right after that i really wanted to cry, except sobrang daming tao and nakakahiya naman, parang ang oa if i cry bigla, hahaa! but wow. the feeling is indescribable. so priceless. i can't believe its been seven months since we three got together. i'm so, so, so, so happy for them and the new show! i swear, ang lakas lakas ng dating ng toni, mariel, john, and randy! seeing them all together, such a powerhouse! for me, mariel is made for noontime.. and toni, wow, such a powerful sight to see her back on noontime! i can't wait to see their show's pilot episode on saturday! :-)

(feb 11) welcome to the beautiful fernbrook gardens! :-) such a nice place! if you've ever heard of fernwood in qc, this is the south version, just outside alabang. gives a super fantasy feel i must say! this is where we taped the valentine week special of tfc connect! took this photo yesterday and wanted to share it with you today. :-) its a very steady friday! grabe, i was up all night last night watching cnn! i was so moved by all the reports about mubarak stepping down and egypt being free. so uplifting! :-) i have a new idol. i super want to meet gael whonim!!!! he's the egyptian activist who played a huge role in this revolution. he spearheaded the revolution through twitter and facebook, and was a major force in getting people together out on the streets! he said a beautiful thing in the cnn interview. he said that the only thing that gets in the way of people's goals and dreams is fear. but once you get over that fear, once you overcome it, you can go for whatever it is you want! :-) doesn't that make perfect sense?? oh how i would love to sit down with him and have a long talk! look him up online. so inspiring! :-)

(feb 12) sobra sobrang happy, yipee, yeheeeeeey!!!!!!!! :-) sobrang happy kasi here are mariel and toni, together again! sobrang yipee kasi here we are all super siksikan in one dressing room! and sobrang yehey for the friendship because its only because of the friendship na napapayag ako na mag-song number today! hahahaha! pardon the stolen shot. very paparazzi picture lang ito of toni and mariel, around ten minutes right before they went live. haha, sorry toni and ma! naka-rollers pa pareho! hahaha! :-) on behalf of toni and mariel, thank you so much to everyone who watched happy, yipee, yehey! i had sooo much fun! :-) the feeling of being together on one stage with toni and ma, like toni said, after seven months, is indescribable!!!! i really felt the love. in ynares i felt people felt the friendship. thank you for all the love on twitter, i'm not kidding i probably got 200 tweets about the number. thank you to our elive family who was watching on the monitor, and all of them texted that they were crying while watching!!!! aaaaw.. thank you to everyone who texted or who posted comments online. maraming salamat. :-):-):-):-)

(feb 13) happy sunday everyone! :-) its taping for snn time again and to this day, i still can't get over the fact that my lapel for the show was used by the one and only ms. kris aquino!!!! to this day, it bears the masking tape that has a letter K on it!!!! nakaka-star struck. :-) speaking of ate kris, last thursday when i visited mariel and toni at their noontime show rehearsals, mariel and i also happened to pass by the dressing room of ate kris for the price is right! still so sweet, still asks so many questions, and super blooming! she asked me, 'o, your hair is so light na pala now!' i explained that i'm trying a change of look just also so its not boring. and she said, 'i like it! its different!' and even had a suggestion for my summer look! cuuuute! its a super steady sunday as usual. the usual mass in the morning, lunch, run in the afternoon, then head to work! you think i have to spice up my ordinary sunday? :-p or okay na ang steady, lazy sunday? hahaha! well, its liz's birthday party slash valentine salubong party tonight! i'm so excited! its gonna be fun! :-)

(feb 14) happy valentines day everyone! :-) :-) :-) :-) how did you spend your valentines day? :-) with all honesty, i'm not a big valentines day person. i'm one of those who think its really just a made up holiday for companies to make money. but hey, i guess it helps the economy so that's fine by me! :-p i actually spent the first few hours of valentines with a whole bunch of people joined together by the love for liz! at her birthday party! wow. it was so. much. fun!!!! :-) i think several bloggers will post photos of it, plus stylebible was there to cover. taray diba?? haha! one unexpected but super fun moment last night? a photo taken of the following people all together.. liz, lino, bea, zanjoe, me, and jc!! grabe!! who would've ever thought we'd all hang out together! :-) anyway, fast forward to my valentines dinner date.. jc and i took out my mom to a simple, yummy resto in bf, for more bonding and kwentuhan, and at the end of the night, we discovered the place was offering free dirty ice cream as a valentine one day only promo!

(feb 15) i have the sweetest friends and supporters!!!! :-) to my right are monica in the pink top, kate with the pink top, and karen in the pink shawl.. they not only visited me on the snn set, they also brought valentine gifts! :-) and not just for me, but also for my make up artist rb, and stylist ange! how incredibly sw...eeeeeet is that?! thank you girls!!!! :-) its so true when they say its the thought that counts! if you want to make new friends, or want to come by the snn set also, you can log on to the forum to meet monica, kate, karen, and many others! :-) superbianca.proboards.com/ :-) thanks to calc for the awesome site! he is someone you should meet too. :-) today i also met a group of students from up manila, all communications students too just like i was, and they were there to interview me for their speech comm class daw. i kept telling them how surreal it feels because just a few years ago, i was exactly like them, interviewing different subjects for class, and now i'm the one granting interviews! its extremely flattering and fulfilling and humbling. :-)
